This recurring series brings together Moving Forward, Fierce Advocates and the Richmond Run Club for a monthly community hike with an optional trail-running pace.

How it works

• Check in at 8:30 am: guided stretching, along with coffee and light snacks + quick welcome + safety notes.

• The Hike & Trail Run will begin promptly at 9:00 AM.

  • Community Hike: conversational pace, regroup points, no one left behind on the hike route.

  • Trail Run option: faster pace / more miles (self-paced with a clear route plan).

Route distance:

• Community Hike: 3 miles **dog allowed on leash *Strollers welcome

• Trail Run option: 5k and 10k group *For safety, no dogs or strollers on the running routes

What to bring
Water bottle, sturdy shoes, layers, and sun protection. *Optional snacks, trekking poles.

Weather & safety
This is an outdoor event, routes may shift for weather/trail conditions. Participate at your own pace and within your limits.
